I’ve been part of CCPS since transferring to PGMS in 7th grade (2022) to further my education. My siblings are proud Tarpon alumni who played sports and joined NHS, and I’ve aimed to continue that legacy while forging my own path. One of my biggest influences has been Mrs. Garner, who challenged my peers and me to give our best. Staff like Mrs. Smith, Coach Mike, Mrs. Steelnack, and Mrs. Haynes have also played key roles in preparing me for success. Coach Mike, in particular, has taught me lessons that go far beyond basketball. As a student-athlete, I’ve worked hard to balance academics and sports. With discipline and strong time management, I’ve been able to excel. I’ve played two basketball seasons, joined NHS, served on the Student Advisory Council to share student input with district leaders, and maintained a 4.5 weighted GPA. My goals are to attend college for medical studies and play basketball at the collegiate level.
